SAN DIEGO (October 14, 2025): Higgs Fletcher & Mack (HFM) is proud to welcome Alana Maddox, the firm’s new Director of Finance, Accounting & Operations, effective October 1, 2025.

Prior to joining HFM, Maddox served as the top financial professional at a Boston-based intellectual property law firm. Her responsibilities included supervising all accounting functions, all internal and external financial reporting and forecasting, and providing cash flow and treasury management. During her tenure at the firm, she also implemented upgrades to all financial-related firm systems, including upgrades to billing, prebill management, intake, conflicts, expense management, and other business intelligence tools. Throughout her career, Maddox has served in accounting and finance roles for prominent law firms.

Maddox holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bridgewater State University and maintains several professional financial licenses, including FINRA’s Series 7 and NASAA’s Series 66. In addition, she is a Licensed Insurance Representative in Life, Accident, and Health with the State of Rhode Island.
